Name: Leo Singer
Major: Physics
Year: Sophomore
Club Responsibilities: 2007 AUV Project Leader
Interests/About: Integration, computer aided design, machining. My main job is to mediate the communication and collaboration of our subteams. I am also heavily involved with the design and fabrication of the hull. My first experiences in Robotics were with my high school's F.I.R.S.T. Robotics team. Outside of robotics, my current academic interests include quantum physics, mathematics, and French literature.
Name: Scott Watson
Major: Computer Engineering
Year: Senior
Club Responsibilities: SONAR development, fundraising, unofficial club photographer
Interests/About: I am interested in embedded systems and signals processing. I'm currently applying my education on AUVSI's AUV competition with the Robotics at Maryland Club designing and building the passive sonar system.
Name: Steve Moskovchenko
Major: Computer Engineering
Year: Junior
Club Responsibilities: PIC Communication Bus, interfacing with some sensors, host PC communication for sensors
Interests/About: I like designing the hardware and developing the software for embedded systems.
Name: Nicholas Limparis
Major: Electrical Engineering
Year: Senior
Club Responsibilities: Power System and distribution, Pressure vessel machining (Endcaps and Misc.), PCB Design and Layout
Interests/About: I personally like sensor interface and microcontroller work better, nevertheless I really enjoy the machine shop work and solving problems as they arise. I work for the Space Systems Laboratory and work on the ASTEP project and do machining work for the lab.
